DAY 1

Arrive in Delhi

Overnight at the Taj Mahal hotel

DAY 2

Delhi

Discover Delhi through the Camera’s Lens.
The Capital of India is home to unique heritage and stunning architecture lending itself beautifully to a day spent trying to capture its glory in amazing clicks.

DAY 3

Delhi-Bhopal

On arrival transfer to the Jehan Numa Palace. Afternoon city tour.

DAY 4

Bhopal – Sanchi – Bhopal

Morning excursion to Sanchi. Afternoon excursion to Bhimbetka, the site of south Asia’s richest collection of prehistoric cave paintings.

DAY 5

Bhopal – Maheshwar (4/5h drive)

Check in at Ahilya Fort, a family fortress in a unique site, where your reception is so personal you feel at home. Rest of day at leisure.

DAY 6

Maheshwar – Ujjain & Omkareshwar – Maheshwar

Morning depart for an excursion to Ujjain, once an important trade centre on the route to Egypt and still one of the holiest pilgrimage centres for Hindus. Morning transfer by road for a fascinating drive full of historic sights such as Omkareshwar, a sacred Hindu island with a Shiva temple.

DAY 7

Maheshwar – Mandu – Maheshwar

A full day exploring the fortress town of Mandu, replete with palaces, mosques, canals and cenotaphs and ancient legends of kings, queens and unrequited love.

DAY 8

Maheshwar – Indore – Mumbai

Morning at leisure. Later transfer to Indore airport for flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to the Taj Landsend Hotel.

DAY 9

Mumbai

A Bollywood Experience.
The Indian film industry has become famous world over these days with Indian stars being feted and awarded every from Cannes to the Oscars.
A day spent discovering this industry and encountering glittering stars and experiencing film shoots.

DAY 10

Fly back home
